Dear Neighbor,

My name is Tim Goodrich and I am asking for your vote in the June 3rd, 2008 Torrance City Council election. I will bring positive change to Torrance and allow our city to reach its full potential.

My first job was delivering newspapers at 10 years old, I bought my first home at the age of 21, and I served three deployments to the Middle East while in the active duty military. I know what hard work and resolve can achieve.

As your city councilman, I will put my ethics and values to work for you. I envision and will work for a Torrance where:

  • Our children can safely play outside and public safety is enhanced
  • Families spend more time together because traffic flows more freely
  • The integrity of our neighborhoods is maintained and neighbors interact because rampant overdevelopment is replaced with balanced, Smart Growth
  • We have clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and open spaces to enjoy
  • Residents are respected and have access to open and accountable city government
I am one of you. I didn’t become involved politically until returning from the Middle East and realizing that we have many of our problems simply because not enough people are involved in the political process. Your vote, and your involvement, will help me bring positive change to the City of Torrance. Please vote for me, Tim Goodrich, on June 3rd, 2008.
